All of the Natural Oils & Butters we use are expeller pressed or steam distilled and NOT solvent extracted.
This means that they are not exposed to harsh chemical solvents.
Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil: Olive oil is rich in vitamins and antioxidants. Olive oil contains vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin K and vitamin E. Olive oil doesn't clog pores, improves exfoliation, and is a great moisturizer.
It may also help prevents acne.

Cocos nucifera (Coconut) oil: Is extracted from the rich white lining (or meat) of coconuts. Contains nourishing fatty acids that help hydrate and protect skin. These include linoleic acid (vitamin F), which helps skin retain moisture, and lauric acid, which has antibacterial properties.

Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil: Creates a stable lather that is dense, and creamy and adds moisturizing qualities to soap.

Theobroma Cocoa (Cocoa) Seed Butter: Also called Cocoa Butter, is praised for its ability to hydrate and nourish the skin and improve elasticity. The fat in cocoa butter forms a protective barrier over skin to hold in moisture.

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter: (All of the Shea Butter we use is Handcrafted) Helps retain moisture and lessen the loss of water by forming a barrier on the skin's surface. As rich and luxurious as it is, it does not clog the pores. It also works to reduce the appearance of rough patches and dry flakes on the skin.

Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil: Is deeply moisturizing and leaves the skin feeling soft and supple. It also contains re-fattening agents that help restore the skin's natural oils and acts to relieve itchy skin.

Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil: used to treat dry skin conditions, including eczema and psoriasis. The oil's fatty acid content may help dissolve excess oil on the skin, while the retinoids in the oil may reduce the appearance of acne.

Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil: A light oil which is highly absorbent, and won't clog pores. It's non-irritating for most people, and can be used on all types of skin, including dry, normal, oily, and acne-prone. With protective antioxidants and its ability to retain moisture, sunflower oil may help minimize the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

Cera Alba (Beeswax): Is a natural wax produced by honey bees. Beeswax helps heals and softens skin, and is an antibacterial agent. It may help fight conditions like acne, dry skin, eczema, and stretch marks.

Magnesium sulphate (Epsom Salts): The Magnesium in Epsom Salts may help the body get rid of toxins responsible for exacerbating inflammation while also reducing swelling, stiffness, and pain.

Sea Salt (Sodium Chloride): Sea Salt is minimally processed, so it contains some of it's natural minerals, including potassium, iron, and calcium. The National Eczema Association recommends adding salt to your bath during a flare-up to help prevent stinging when bathing. You can also use sea salt to treat skin irritation and inflammation.

Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Distillate: Witch hazel is a natural astringent steam distilled from bark and leaves of the witch hazel plant. It is often used as a natural topical remedy. It contains several compounds with potent anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties, which may be useful in treating a variety of conditions ranging from acne and scalp sensitivity.

Isopropyl Alcolol: Topical antiseptic for temporary relief of bruises, sprains and muscular aches. May be used to aid in preventing bed sores and reduce excessive perspiration. This is the main ingredient in most hand sanitizers. Used mainly to sanitize packaging.

SLSa (Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate): SLSa or Lathanol (as you may also see this product listed as) has a large molecular size, and therefore it does not penetrate the skin. It is a sulfate free powder surfactant derived from coconut and palm oils and is a safe, skin friendly cleanser that provides a rich quality lather.

Sodium Hydroxide (Lye): Sodium Hydroxide (better known as Lye) is what turns natural oils in to soap. You simply can not make natural soap without it. Fortunately, all off the “lye” that is added in the production is used up (saponified), turning the oils into rich luxurious soap.

Potassium Bitartrate (Cream of Tartar): is a natural byproduct of wine making and has been safely used as a food additive for decades. It is used in Bath & Body products as a stabilizer, pH control agent, antimicrobial agent, processing aid, or thickener.

Polysorbate 80: Is a natural vegetable sourced emulsifier which creates solubility between water based ingredients and oil based ingredients.

Saccharum Officinarum (Organic Sugar) Derived from Evaporated Cane Juice. Organic Sugar is a fine grain sugar that serves as a beautiful and effective natural exfoliant for the face and body.
Sodium lactate: Is made by the fermentation of a sugar, which can come from corn or beets, to produce lactic acid. We only use Vegan, non-GMO Sodium lactate.

Essential Oils: Are the concentrated essences of the natural oils found in plants. Used for their natural fragrance as well as many natural healing and protective properties.

Fragrance Oils: Fragrance oils are manufactured oils developed for their pleasant scents. They are a combination of natural and man-made compounds. Fragrance oils are able to hold a much stronger scent longer.
The limited amount of fragrance oils we use are phthalate and paraben free.

Silk Peptides: Are a highly purified natural silk powder. It has a structure similar to that of the collagen fibres that make up the skin. It naturally increases the elasticity of skin, speeds up skin metabolism, and helps prevents wrinkles.

Magnesium Hydroxide: Is a safe and naturally occurring compound used in our natural deodorant products as an alternative to aluminum, baking soda and other ingredients that are potentially irritating.

Maranta Arundinacea (Arrowroot) Powder): Arrowroot was one of the earliest plants to be domesticated for food in northern South America, with evidence of exploitation or cultivation of the plant dating back to 8200 BCE.

Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda): Sodium bicarbonate is formed by mixing carbon, sodium, hydrogen and oxygen molecules. This mixture, also known as baking soda, is actually a type of salt.

Avena Sativa (Oatmeal): Colloidal oatmeal is made by grinding oat grain into a fine powder. Used as an emollient Contains fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients shown to benefit the skin.

Vitamin E: Derived from organic wheat germ.

Oenothera biennis (evening primrose) oil: Evening primrose oil has been used for improving hydration and elasticity, reducing wrinkles and fine lines, soothing itchy, dry, and irritated skin, treating and preventing breakouts.

Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract: Calendula oil is a natural oil extracted from marigold flowers. Calendula helps to plump the surface of your skin to give you tighter, more supple skin. With both the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties it may help to protect your skins collagen and elastin.

Geogard Ultra is a safe natural preservative that contains two organic acids. This preservative is also non-GMO. It is a preservative that meets ECOCERT standards and is allowed in natural and organic products.
